History
The owners and operators of Telo Island Lodge have a long and deep history with the country of Indonesia and specifically North Sumatra. We have been operating land based surfing resorts in North Sumatra since we invented the genere 20- odd years ago.
Our first project was the Hinako's Hideaway which ran for 15 years in the Hinako Islands near Nias prior to the opening of Telo Island Lodge. Remote area construction and operation has been a part of our lives since our teenage years.
With the opening of Telo Island Lodge we have drawn on all this experience to present an exclusive, safe surfing holiday without equal in this region.
